79. Classic English-Style Pale Ale

Classic English Pale Ales are gold to copper. Chill haze is acceptable. Fruity esters are medium to high. Hop aroma and flavor are medium-low to medium-high, expressed as floral, herbal, earthy, stone fruit or other attributes. Hop bitterness is medium-low to medium-high. Low to medium malt aroma and flavor are present. Low caramel character is allowable. Very low sulfuric aroma derived from brewing water may be appropriate for this style. Diacetyl if evident should be very low. Body is medium.
