39. Other International-Style Lager

Other International Lagers are straw to black depending on underlying classic lager style. Hop aroma, flavor and bitterness are variable with underlying classic lager style. Malt aroma and flavor are variable with underlying classic lager style. This style includes any classic lager beer made with non-traditional ingredients. For example, Bohemia Pilsener flavored with Kent Golding Hops, Münchner Helles used rice as an adjunct, or Vienna Lager made with six-raw barley malts are categorized in this style. Lager beers which do not conform to any lager style in this guideline are also categorized in Other International Lager. They can include wholly new lager beers which may deviate from typical lager fermentation profiles with slightly elevated ester, or in degree of attenuation.
To allow for accurate judging the brewer must provide additional information about the entry including the classic lager style of underlying base beer, non-traditional hop variety(ies), non-traditional malts or adjuncts, and non-traditional fermentation processes if used. Beer entries not accompanied by this information will be at a disadvantage during judging.

39. その他のインターナショナルスタイル・ラガー

　その他のインターナショナル・ラガーの色合いは、ベースにしたクラシック・ラガーのスタイルに基づいて、ストロー（麦わら色）からブラックの範囲。ホップのアロマとフレーバーおよび苦味のレベルは、ベースにしたクラシック・ラガーに基づく。モルトのアロマとフレーバーもベースにしたスタイルに基づく。その他のインターナショナル・ラガーは、クラシック・ラガーをベースにしながらも通常そのスタイルに使われない原料を使ってつくったビールである。たとえば、ケントゴールディング・ホップで香りづけしたボヘミア・ピルスナー、米を副原料に使ったミュンヒナー・ヘレス、または六条大麦麦芽でつくったウィンナ・ラガーなどは、このスタイルに含まれる。また、このスタイル・ガイドラインのいずれにも属さないラガービールも、このスタイルに該当する。たとえば、ラガー酵母がもたらす典型的なキャラクターから外れてエステルのレベルを高めたラガービールやアテニュエイション（発酵度）を通常より高めてつくった非常にドライなラガービールなどである。
　このスタイルに出品するビールは、ベースにしたクラシック・ラガーのスタイル名、使用したホップ品種、使用したモルトや副原料の種類、非伝統的な発酵方法を行っていればその詳細を明示することが求められる。これらについての情報が添付されていないビールは、審査の際に不利となる場合がある。
