106. Free-Style High-Alcohol Light Lager

Free-Style High-Alcohol Light Lagers are very pale to gold. These beers should reflect brewer's originality in overall character, and may be entirely free from traditional beer style. Fruity-ester aroma is not acceptable. Alcohol strength should be more than 5.6% by weight (7.0 % by volume). Malt proportion among total grist should be more than 25%. Astringency and harshness should not be perceived. DMS is acceptable if very low. Diacetyl should not be perceived. Turbidity due to yeast and chill haze are allowed.
To allow for accurate judging the brewer must provide additional information about entries in this style. Comments could include character of aroma/flavor intended by brewer, adjuncts, and malt's ratio. Beer entries not accompanied by this information will be at a disadvantage during judging.

　フリースタイル・ハイアルコール・ライトラガーの色合いは、非常に淡い色からゴールドの範囲。伝統的なビアスタイルにとらわれず、アロマやフレーバーにブルワーのオリジナリティが求められる。アルコール度数は7.0％以上。麦芽比率は25％以上。口当たりの不快感や渋味があってはならない。フルーティーなエステル香は望ましくない。DMSは非常にロー・レベルなら感じられてもよい。ダイアセチルがあってはならない。酵母による濁り、冷温白濁があっても許される。
　このスタイルに出品するビールは、ブルワーが意図したフレーバーの特徴、使用した副原料名、および麦芽比率を明示することが求められる。これらについての情報が添付されていないビールは、審査の際に不利となる場合がある。
