Dortmunder/European Exports are straw to deep golden. Chill haze is not acceptable. Fruity-ester aroma should not be perceived. Hop aroma and flavor are very low to low, deriving from noble-type hops. Hop bitterness is medium. Sweet malt flavor can be low and should not be caramel-like. Diacetyl should not be perceived. Body is medium.

　ドルトムンダー／ヨーロピアン・エクスポートの色合いは、ストロー(麦わら色)から深いゴールドの範囲。冷温白濁は許されない。フルーティーなエステル香とダイアセチルも不可。ホップのアロマとフレーバーは、ノーブルタイプ・ホップ由来のもので、ローないしそれ以下のレベルに抑える。ホップの苦味はミディアム。甘味を伴うモルト・フレーバーがロー・レベルで感じられてもよいが、カラメル系のアロマを伴うのはいけない。ボディはミディアム。
