1-A. Light American Wheat Beer without Yeast

Light American Wheats without Yeasts are straw to light amber. Chill haze is acceptable. Low fruity-ester aroma is typical. Hop aroma, flavor and bitterness are low to medium. Malt aroma and flavor are low to medium-low. Low to medium-low malt sweetness is present. Grist includes at least 30 percent malted wheat. These beers can be fermented with either ale or lager yeast. Diacetyl and clove-like phenolics should not be perceived. Body is very light to medium. Because this style is packaged and served without yeast, no yeastcharacters should be evident in mouthfeel.
