33-A. International-Style Pilsener

International Pilseners are straw to pale. Chill haze should not be perceived. These beers are often brewed with rice, corn, wheat, or other grain or sugar adjuncts making up part of the mash. Fruity-ester aroma should not be perceived. Residual malt aroma and sweetness are very low and does not predominate but may be perceived. Hop aroma and flavor are low. Hop bitterness is low to medium. Very low levels of DMS if perceived are acceptable. Diacetyl should not be perceived. Body is light to medium.

Apparent Extract/Final Gravity (°Plato) : 1.008-1.010 (2.1-2.6 °Plato)
Alcohol by Weight (Volume) : 3.6%-4.2% (4.6%-5.3%)

Color SRM (EBC) : 3-4 (6-8 EBC)
